Hoover PowerDrive Pet

We recently moved into a new house and Thank Goodness have Carpet again (I may be the only one but I do NOT like laminate aka fake hardwood at ALL!!) I was so excited when I got the opportunity to test out the New Hoover PowerDrive Pet vacuum.  

We do not have pets but with six kids and my post baby hair loss we might as well have pets,  so I feel we were able to really put this vacuum to good use.

The Hoover Power Drive boasts

It comes with a crevice tool, a dusting brush and a pet Turbo tool.  I love the quick release cleaning wand for getting into corners and hard to reach spaces and the no loss of suction wind tunnel technology is powerful.  I also love the extra large dirt cup!  

I literally pulled the vacuum out of the box the day we got the keys to do a once over on the carpets before we started ,moving our things in.  We had seen a steam cleaner at the house and felt wet rugs the day we viewed it so I was expecting the carpets to be mostly clean...I sprinkled down some baking soda as we were trying to get rid of some lingering strong smells and went back to vacuum it up later with my brand new Power Drive and man let me tell you I was actually grossed out by how much dirt the Power Drive was able to get out of the "freshly washed" carpets!!!!

 A good inch of dirt was left in the bottom of the cup!! So gross and I am so glad we got the Power Drive just at the right time to get that nastiness out before we moved in!!!  Talk about perfect timing and and awesome vacuum!
