My five year old DS1 LOVES Jagger the Switch & Go Dino!! He is right in the middle of the recommended age range and I do find I need to help him transform the Dino to and from the truck a bit but he is getting the hang of it (who am I kidding I had to get the hang of it at first but it is easy now :)).
It is better for him them my younger DS2 who is only three as the voice activated features do need a clear voice to work. The boys love that they can make the dino roar and move and love trying to scare their younger brothers by making Jagger chase the little ones...ahhh Boys ;)
The Switch & Go Dino's are recommended for ages 3-8 and there are many options to choose from including an Air plane/Dino and many more.
Jagger requires 4 AA batteries.
