Ozeri Swiss Designed FRESHSPIN Salad Spinner and Serving Bowl Review

I LOVE salad in the summer, i'd actually prefer to have salad then cook on a long hot day but everyone knows that washing lettuce can be a pain.  This is why I am super happy to have the chance to review the Ozeri salad spinner.  I love that it has the nice bowl for the bottom that easily doubles for the salad bowl and is nice enough to serve guests from but my favorite part is that my oldest boy LOVE it and always wants to help spin the salad!

 Just got to love help in the kitchen and now I actually have a job he is able to do. Yippee!  Right out of the box he made me some delicious block salad...um..yum?

 but since he has dried me up many a salad and I really enjoy his help.  The Ozeri salad spinner consists of three pieces, the bottom clear bowl, the insert green basket and the lid.  You simply add your lettuce  unlock the lever and spin dry.  I was a bit concerned the first time I used it because it didn't "seem" to spin fast but upon opening the lid and lifting out the basket I was very happy to find a ton of water that had come off my lettuce  and the lettuce was dry and perfect for salad making.  Nothing I hate worse then wet lettuce which in turn waters down the rest of the salad and gets limp and soggy!  I am very happy with the Ozeri salad spinner!!
