Little Tree Hugger Review and Giveaway

I was so excited to be able to work with Little Tree Hugger a great online store from right here in Canada! They say they are Canada's premiere online store for modern cloth diapers and eco goods for your baby and I can sure see why!  they have a full store with many options of cloth diapers and accessories but they also carry sleeping products to toys to strider bikes!!  One thing that Little Tree Hugger offers to i their customers that I was impressed with is Free cloth diaper demos with consultants across Canada!!  What a great resource to have available to all the new to cloth parents!!  I know as a newbie the choices took me by surprise and made me scared to cloth diaper for a long time.  If I had had the chance to have a demo of the different styles and brands it would have really put my mind at ease and helped me to know what would work best for our family!!

Little Tree Hugger sent me a flip diaper system to try out which consists of a one size water proof PUL cover and a stay dry insert.  The cover is one size with a 3x3 adjustable snap system that should fit from birth to potty training.  It has an overhang on both the front and the back that you simply tuck the insert under and your ready to go.  The inserts are also adjustable and are conveniently marked with small, medium, large and fold lines to show where to fold to fit it into the 3 size adjustments.

   The idea behind this system is that you would buy one cover with 3 or so inserts and be able to just remove the insert after your child pees and replace with a new insert.  This would save a ton of money as the inserts are much more cost effective then purchasing a whole other diaper, also it saves on laundry and space needed.  I really like all of these benefits so was thrilled to give it a try with my boys!  And the verdict is that I LOVE the flip system!  It is super easy to use and unlike some other covers I find the inserts fit in nicely and stay put where they are supposed to!  I should note that if your child just pee's the insert can just be changed but if they poop I have found that some undoubtedly gets on the cover so I always change the cover after a poop.  I am very happy to report that all the poop did stay inside the cover!!!
